Ikram Wears Red
For a while we were following the construction of a new boutique complex for Chicago’s most influential fashion industry insider, Ikram Goldman. Then for some reason we stopped. Which means that we’re super late in bringing you this photo of her completed Near North Side store at 15 East Huron Street.
As expected, it’s a vision in red, with daring details, dramatic spaces, and even a small cafe.
If you don’t know who Ikram is, let’s put it this way: When Michelle Obama stopped wearing her fashions, it reflected badly on the first lady, not on Ikram.
